St. Peter’s Chapel and Daffodil Tea Blog

We’ve been stirring up goodwill for St. Peter’s Chapel and public awareness about its preservation and restoration needs for just about a decade now. Our annual Daffodil Tea is a way to enjoy a tea in the beautifully decorated former officer’s quarters along Captain’s Row on Mare Island in Vallejo California and also experience the glorious collection of  29 Louis Comfort Tiffany stained-glass windows in this simple and hallowed Navy chapel. We receive so many notes from those who were married in the Chapel or have other family ties, we just decicded that a blog would be a fun way to share them with you, along with photos from the Daffodil Tea. Enjoy, and feel free to share with us your favorite memory of St. Peter’s Chapel and Mare Island, or maybe about your latest outing here.
